The figure uploaded below is the map of three districts in the northern region of Ghana. These districts are selected for Ph.D. research on access to basic educational infrastructure in rural Ghana. Please critically review the accuracy of the map and give comments for improvement. Thank you
This is impressive
Could you please take a second look at the following?
1. No need to insert both scale text and scale bar
2. Map inserts have no extent indicators and are not labelled
3. Make sure the Outlines are very clear ( you may increase the outline with colour or both)
4. You may look at your choice of colours again. Try not too bright colours
5. For a PHD map, exclude the title from the map ( it can be added as a caption in the main document
6. Check the grid interval
7 Check the Lengend container (the bottom is not aligning with the map frame)
8 Could you consider adding a neat line?
9. Water bodies as the legend label could be Rivers/Streams)
Best!
Just to add to what Joseph has rightly outlines
ii. You may not add the "Authors Construct" to the map...As we usually add that as a caption or source in a paper.
iii. So you may also not add the grid lines...but the ticks and values are just okay
