Downloading shapefiles, rasta data and other materials for analysis

I do not have prior knowledge about how to acquire my desired data or shape files for specific area of interest. I have gone through series of Youtube videos but I have not gotten the right or direct instructions on bow to go about it. I would be glad if I can be assisted. Ps I have to submit a suitability analysis paper by 8th october. 🤞

The data you require can be obtained from the Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority in the Wa Municipal Assembly.

You could also acquire the data from the following sources:

Soil Data: https://soilgrids.org/

Climate Data (Rainfall and Temperature) : https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/global-maps

NB: Kindly note that, the above data sources are on a global scale, thus you can extract data for your specified region.

Attached is also some available data for Ghana.

Thank you for your swift reply. I would be glad if I can get the data for Humidity/rainfall, temperature, soil texture, soil pH soil drainage and the slope. All of wa municipal. Thank you

The slope of an area is usually computed from topographic data or a digital elevation model. Based on the GIS tool you are using, the procedure would be different. But within the Spatial Analysis toolbox of ARCGIS, there is a tool for determining the slope of an area based on specified parameters which are defined by the analyst.
